One hiatus email: A disturbing dream in Brazil

So I've had a great time in Rio and am currently relaxing on Isha Grande, the most gorgeous tropic island south of Rio. Carnival was spectacular; the poor people from the favelas go all out for this one week of the year, and people parade the streets day and night in costumes. No one works. The beach is packed and people of all ages, including the grandfathers wander the city in speedo bathing suits and flip-flops.

The boys have been gobsmackingly beautiful, sexy and friendly, but I've been curiously shy, plus extremely busy with the social whirlwind organized by my fun friends from London, and
consequently I have had a virtually sex-free holiday. Perhaps it's a post-Richard thing. (Except the truth is that I am hardly "post"; I miss him so much, the fucking dickhead, wanker, etc, etc, etc.) Still, I wouldn't worry about it too much except last night the strangest thing happened.

We went to a club in Ipanema in Rio called Le Boi. There were these rather fantastic
female go-go dancers including this one HUGE black woman in a blonde wig, sucker-fish pink lips, and tits the size of brazil squeezed into a black and white polka dot mini dress. She was CRAZY, gyrating round her podium, peeling her butt cheeks to the crowd, sliding her hands suggestively over her body etc - all on 8 inch heels. I think she weighed at least 300 pounds.
But I was sooooooooo over the club thing, so I left and went home alone early. Had problems sleeping, but eventually drifted off.

And then, for only the second time in my life - the first being when I was 13 - I had a wet dream: to the thought of fucking that 300 lb fat lady! I ASK YOU ALL: WHAT DOES IT MEAN??????????

I am disturbed, and plan to go into immediate therapy about this. For now, howwever, I am taking comfort from my visit to Corcovao, the Christ the Redeemer statue towering above Rio. It is the most beautiful scupture I have ever seen. It is also the largest Art Deco scupture in the world. Arms widespread, offering welcome and solice and peace to all. I was quite, quite moved.

Peace to you all.
